There is a growing recognition that African Diaspora Organizations (ADOs) based outside of the continent can generate substantial benefits for origin countries by increasing their support to Africa-based indigenous Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

We are responding to ADOs calls for support to be connected to the right SMEs or CSOs and to be provided with appropriate support to identify, design, deliver and manage projects; harnessing and deepening the cooperation between these development players.

We support ADOs, SMEs and CSOs by enhancing the technical, managerial and organizational skills in relation to their ability to map, locate and tap into sources of financial aid as well as other type of support, so that they evolve to a stage where they can raise resources independently.

This is at a time, when the African continent is transforming at a rapid rate with greater political stability and prospects for long-term sustainable economic and social development. In order to accommodate the transformation process and to attract resources and investment, ADOs, indigenous CSOs and SMEs are playing an increasingly important role to absorb and sustain the process equitably.
